How it works
Each field maps to one or more standard meta tags. Title and description alone are used by search engines; adding a URL, image, or site name also produces Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, which control how the page looks when shared as a link.
Why the image matters most for sharing
A link shared without og:image usually shows as plain text on most
platforms. Adding an image URL is what turns a shared link into a rich
preview card with a picture, which gets noticeably more attention in a
feed.
Where these tags go
Paste the generated tags inside the page’s <head> element. Order among
meta tags does not matter, but they must appear in the head, not the body,
for browsers and link-preview crawlers to read them.
